 Undergraduate English Medium Programmes


International Medicine MBBS



Study Medicine in China at Nankai University's six-year MBBS. The course aims to meet the high demand for qualified doctors by offering a combined Bachelor’s and medical degree programme for those with A-level or equivalent qualifications wishing to progress directly to medical training. Gain experience in the Clinical Skills and Simulation Training Centre and clinical placement at a leading Grade 3 Level A teaching hospital in Tianjin, China.


Medical degrees awarded by Nankai University are internationally recognised and validated by the World Health Organisation (WHO). Validated English language Chinese MBBS degrees are recognised in South Africa, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan for local professional medical board examinations. An MBBS degree from Nankai is a primary medical qualification (PMQ) allowing direct progression into professional medical practice.


Whilst studying an MBBS degree, students will experience first-class teaching, dedicated support from INTO student services and full access to on-campus facilities.





Postgraduate English Medium Programmes

MBA Business Management


The MBA at Nankai University is a two-year postgraduate degree that combines collaborative and interactive class-based study with short-term internships and a Master's thesis to produce the business management executives of the future.


MSc International Business and Economics


A postgraduate degree taught in English at a top-ranked Chinese university. Nankai University offers you the opportunity to study a Master's in International Economics and Business at one of China's oldest and most prestigious universities. Being taught entirely in English by fully qualified and experienced teachers. All of the coursework material is provided in English and you will be able to complete your exams and assignments in English. There are core modules of Chinese language as part of the curriculum that will allow you to develop new language skills whilst you study.


MSc International Relations


Study a postgraduate degree at one of China's best ranked universities. Taught in English, Nankai University offers you the opportunity to study a MA in International Relations at Nankai University’s Zhou Enlai School of Government, designed to prepare graduates for a wide range of careers in the field of international relations. The programme provides the academic and analytical skills necessary to understand the contemporary world and the rapidly changing context in which international relations and foreign diplomacy are conducted.


Entry Requirements, Costs, Start Dates

International Medicine MBBS

Academic: A-level (or equivalent) grades BBB to include Maths, Biology and Chemistry. Final transcripts required.

English Language: IELTS 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in all subskills) or GCSE/iGCSE English grade B, or equivalent.

Fees: RMB 64,000 per year (approx £6,400 per year or approx US $10,305 per year)

Start Dates: September


Postgraduate Programmes

Academic: Successful completion of Bachelor's degree with good grades.

Students should have a minimum GPA of 2.5. Students who have at least a year of relevant work experience will be considered with a GPA of 2.3 or higher.

English Language: IELTS 6.0 or equivalent

Fees: RMB 75,000 per year (approx £7,545 per year or approx US $12,254 per year)

Start Dates: Sept
