Entry Requirements

Foundation Courses

Academic requirements:

You need to have completed 12 years of schooling (or the local equivalent to meet the same standard) with very good grades.

 

English requirements:

Three term programme: IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.0 in any subskill) or equivalent.

Four term programme: IELTS 5.0 (with a minimum of 4.5 in any subskill) or equivalent.

The Centre accepts other Secure English Language Tests (SELT) including Pearson PTE.

 

Diploma Porgrammes

Academic requirements:

Satisfactory completion of A-levels, a recognised Foundation programme, or the first year of an overseas university degree programme with good grades, or equivalent.

English requirements:

Three term programme: IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in reading and writing) or equivalent.

Four term programme: IELTS 5.0 (with a minimum of 5.0 in reading and writing) or equivalent.

 

Graduate Diploma Programmes

Academic requirements:

Pass in an undergraduate degree in any academic subject (as approved by INTO University of East Anglia).

or

Diploma (3-5 years) with high grades in any academic subject (as approved by INTO University of East Anglia).

English requirements:

IELTS 5.5 (with a minimum of 5.5 in all subskills) or equivalent.

The Centre accepts other Secure English Language Tests (SELT) including Pearson PTE.

What's the difference between the 3 and 4 term course?

Lasting 4 terms, the Extended International Diploma incorporates an additional term of intensive English tuition on the same visa, and typically has a lower English language entry requirement.

If you need to study more than one term of English in order to reach the level necessary for academic study you should aply for the English for University Study course.

Tuition fees do not include:

  • Enrolment fee: an additional charge of £150 per academic programme (to be charged upon confirmation).
  • Textbooks and other learning materials: an additional charge in the region of £200 per academic course (three term) or £275 per academic course (four term).
  • Accommodation is not included in the fees: view our accommodation options.
