Programme overview If you’re aiming for a business degree at a top 100 research university, the Holland International Study Centre’s International Foundation Year opens up your chances of success in one of a wide range of bachelors degrees taught in
English at the University of Groningen. This access programme helps you improve your English language and academic ability,
as well as preparing you for a European classroom environment, ensuring you achieve the best possible results in your chosen business or economics undergraduate degree.

Successful completion the programme, achieving the required academic grades and English score, leads to progression to the first year of your chosen undergraduate business degree at the University of Groningen. Degree options include: BSc International Business, BSc Econometrics and Operations Research, BSc Economics and Business Economics.

International Foundation Year Science and Engineering

If you’re aiming for a science or engineering degree at a top 100 research university, the Holland International Study Centre’s International Foundation Year opens up your chances of success in one of a wide range of bachelors degrees taught in English at the University of Groningen. The English Pre-Masters Programme provides intensive language and research methodology training, to ensure you feel thoroughly prepared to begin your postgraduate course.

The English Pre-Masters prepares you for a range of masters degrees within the University of Groningen’s Faculty of Economics and Business, accredited by the AACSB and among the top 5% of business schools in the world.
