Located in the heart of Amsterdam, Nyenrode New Business School promotes entrepreneurship, creativity and responsible business throughout its range of commercially relevant business-related degree programmes.

 

Nyenrode New Business School aims to educate students in a broad range of academic disciplines, promoting entrepreneurship, creativity and responsible business. With these values in mind and following a strategy based on academic experience, classes at Nyenrode New Business School are designed for small groups (maximum of 22 students). They also stimulate the student's capacity to think independently and conduct critical analysis, explore theories and concepts of the core areas of finance, human resource management, marketing and communications. Simultaneously, students perform as starting entrepreneurs, building knowledge and practical experience in real life business projects and running small companies.

 

The BBA New Business programme allows students to follow a general business degree or specialise in one of four business areas: Creative Business & Entertainment Management, Business & Entrepreneurial Marketing, Business & Financial Management, Business & New Entrepreneurship. The curriculum offers a balanced mix between core requirements and a variety of electives and is designed to allow flexibility for students to take coursework in areas of specific interest to them.
Programme characteristics.

 

Following a strategy based on experience, class sizes at Nyenrode New Business School are kept small (with a maximum of 22
students), to help tutors provide you with the support you need to get the most out of your studies. Nyenrode’s business degree
programmes aim to stimulate your ability to think independently and conduct critical analysis, while encouraging you to explore
the theories and concepts surrounding the core areas of business: finance, human resource management, and marketing communications. Learn to think like an entrepreneur, building your knowledge and practical experience, with the chance to contribute to a real-life business project or by running a small company.

The dedicated Holland International Study Centre team will support you in applying for a place at the University of Groningen,
which you’ll need to do before you enrol on one of the International Study Centre’s degree preparation programmes. Guidance at every step of the way With small classes and continuous monitoring of your progress, you’ll receive expert guidance at every step of your journey towards an internationallyrenowned undergraduate or postgraduate qualification.

International Foundation Year
Choose between Holland ISC’s International Foundation Year programmes in Business and Management or Science and Engineering, each preparing you thoroughly for the first year of an undergraduate degree.

International Foundation Year

Your route to a degree at Nyenrode New Business School
The International Foundation Year at the Holland International Study Centre provides a route to the following degrees, taught in
English, at Nyenrode New Business School. During your final year, you get the opportunity to undertake a valuable work
placement and a graduation project.

 

Progression Degrees include the following:

 

BBA Business Administration
Pursue a general business degree or specialise in one of four key business areas: 

 

Creative Business & Entertainment Management

 

Business & Entrepreneurial Marketing

 

Business & Financial Management

 

Business & New Entrepreneurship

 

With a balance of compulsory core subjects and elective modules, the course gives you freedom to tailor the programme to your
individual areas of interest.


Programme summary:

 

· Study international business

· Combine academic study with practical business experience

 

· Travel to countries such as Ethiopia, India and China for projects

 

· Study in Amsterdam, with intensive weeks at the Breukelen campus
